Known locally as "the Langleys", the City of Langley and the Township of Langley offer a unique lifestyle that is a blend of urban conveniences and country atmosphere; a wonderful place to raise a family.

The Township ~ "A community of communities"

The Township of Langley is located in the lower mainland of British Columbia, Canada, and is a member of the Greater Vancouver Regional District.

Incorporated in 1873, the Township is made up of various communities, including Aldergrove, Brookswood/Fernridge, Fort Langley, Murrayville, Walnut Grove, Willowbrook, and Willoughby. The Township occupies 316 square kilometres (122 square miles), and is home to approximately 91,000 residents.

The City ~ "A Complete Compact Community"

The City of Langley is located in the eastern portion of the Greater Vancouver Regional District. Within just 10 square kilometres (4 square miles), the City of Langley contains established six residential neighbourhoods, anatural wetland of regional significance, parkland exceeding 300 acres, high density residential development, a revitalized pedestrian-oriented downtown, a regional shopping centre and one of the most active industrial and service commercial land bases found in the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland.

The City of Langley has managed to retain its small city atmosphere and community spirit while offering all the amenities of a major urban centre.
